History
Wedgewood Pharmacy was established in 1981 by pharmacists George and Lucy Malmberg, who opened a small community pharmacy in suburban New Jersey. Initially focused on equine medications, the practice expanded to include companion animals, exotic pets, and zoo and aquarium animals. In 2023, Wedgewood merged with Blue Rabbit, marking a new era for veterinary services.
