Wedgewood Pharmacy

Wedgewood Pharmacy is a veterinary compounding pharmacy that has grown from a small community pharmacy to become the largest US veterinary compounding pharmacy, serving over 70,000 vets and one million animals yearly. It offers a formulary of more than 46,000 compounded medications and, through its Blue Rabbit platform, provides a PIMS-integrated online pharmacy solution for veterinary practices.

Wedgewood Pharmacy was established in 1981 by pharmacists George and Lucy Malmberg, who opened a small community pharmacy in suburban New Jersey. Initially focused on equine medications, the practice expanded to include companion animals, exotic pets, and zoo and aquarium animals. In 2023, Wedgewood merged with Blue Rabbit, marking a new era for veterinary services.
