Brand Wiki
Sources
Brand Wiki distinguishes primary records from published reporting. The Sources section on a profile lists references used for that entry.
Primary sources
Official websites, regulatory and listing filings, and statements issued by the company or brand. These are preferred for identity, structure, and current operations.
Secondary sources
Established news organizations and industry records. These are used for history, campaigns, decisions, and public controversies when a primary document is not on file.
How to read a profile
A linked source supports the claim beside it. A paragraph without a source is narrative context, not a hard fact. If the Sources section is absent, no separate reference list has been recorded for that entry.
What is not an official site
Retail marketplaces, app stores, social networks, and aggregator directories are not treated as the brand’s official website, even when they mention the company.
