Viking Vesta is an ocean cruise ship operated by Viking Ocean Cruises, part of the Viking Cruises group. Built by Fincantieri in Ancona, Italy, the vessel belongs to Viking's modern ocean-cruise fleet and entered commercial service in July 2025. It was launched in 2024, christened in June 2025, and delivered to its operator on 30 June 2025. Viking Vesta is also designed with a future hydrogen-fuel pathway in mind and has a 4.7 MWh battery capacity. In this respect, it is associated with Viking's developing interest in lower-emission marine propulsion and is described as a sister ship to Viking Libra, identified as the first hydrogen-powered cruise ship in the relevant vessel series. The ship's maiden voyage departed Venice on 2 July 2025. The 12-night inaugural itinerary travelled through the Mediterranean to Barcelona, calling at ports in Italy, Croatia, Greece, Monaco and France. Planned deployment includes further Mediterranean voyages as well as itineraries in Northern Europe.
