Sinopec Nanjing Chemical Industries Co Ltd (南化公司) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinopec Group, a Fortune 500 company. It was formed in May 2005 through the merger of the former Nanjing Chemical Industries Company and Nanjing Chemical Plant. The company is located in the Jiangbei New Area of Nanjing, covering an area of 3.79 square kilometers. It is a major base for inorganic, organic, fine chemicals, chemical machinery, and chemical R&D, with 28 production units and a total capacity of 2.5 million tons (excluding joint ventures). Its main products include inorganic chemicals (synthetic ammonia, hydrogen, sulfuric acid, dilute nitric acid, concentrated nitric acid, caustic soda), organic chemicals (aniline, nitrobenzene, chlorobenzene, nitrochlorobenzene), and fine chemicals (rubber antioxidants TMQ, 6PPD/4010NA, RT培司). As of the end of 2025, it had 3,366 employees.

The company was formed in May 2005 through the merger of the former Nanjing Chemical Industries Company and Nanjing Chemical Plant. The predecessor of the former Nanjing Chemical Industries Company was the Yongli Chemical Industries Company Ammonia Plant, founded in 1934 by the famous patriotic industrialist Fan Xudong, known as the cradle of China's chemical industry. The predecessor of the former Nanjing Chemical Plant was the Central Chemical Plant Preparatory Office of the National Resources Commission, established in 1947, considered the birthplace of China's fine chemicals. Over 92 years since its establishment, it has created more than 30 national firsts in coal chemicals, fine chemicals, chemical machinery, catalysts, and chemical R&D, cultivated 5 academicians, and contributed over 13,000 talents to the country.
