Sherex Fastening Solutions is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of innovative fastening solutions. The company offers fasteners for thin sheet attachments, including blind rivet nuts, clinch nuts, compression limiters, nut and stud plates, and custom engineered specialty fasteners. It also provides wedge locking products under the TEC Series® and Disc-Lock® brands, as well as fastener installation systems. Sherex was founded in 1979 as Sherex Industries, and in 2004 the rivet nut division became Sherex Fastening Solutions. In 2024, Sherex was acquired by PennEngineering, becoming the leading brand and company of rivet nut fastening technology and the largest rivet nut manufacturer in North America.

Sherex Industries was founded in 1979 in Buffalo, NY primarily serving the Automotive and Fluid Power Markets. In 2004, the rivet nut division was spun off and became Sherex Fastening Solutions. In 2024, Sherex was acquired by PennEngineering to be the leading brand and company of rivet nut fastening technology. This allowed Sherex to take on the ATLAS MaxTite rivet nut line and open manufacturing capacity globally. Sherex has established world-class production facilities and customer support centers in Taiwan, Malaysia, Ireland, China, Mexico, Danboro, PA, England, and Poland. Sherex UK is the first facility in Europe, located in Burnley, England, and Sherex Poland is the second, located in Warsaw.
