PT PULAU SAMBU was incorporated as a company in 1967. Its legacy began with Mr Tay Juhana, a Singaporean-born founder who ventured to Indonesia's Kuala Tungkal in Jambi Province. He later adopted Indonesian citizenship. The company developed a new business model from copra trading to copra milling.
