Saf-Gard Safety Shoe Company is a family-owned and operated business founded in 1980 by Bob and Ann Kubis. It offers custom safety footwear solutions, including retail locations, mobile shoe stores, and corporate shoe programs. The company has been operating for over 40 years and is currently led by the founders' sons.

Saf-Gard was founded in 1980 by husband and wife team Bob and Ann Kubis, offering retail, Mobile Shoe Store, in-plant consignment and mail order options. In the early 1990s, the team grew to 14 with three Mobile Shoe Stores, and the founders' sons Jeff, Gregg, and Patrick Kubis joined. By the end of the 90s, Saf-Gard purchased the HYTEST Atlantic distributorship in Claymont, Delaware and opened retail locations in Virginia, Delaware, and other states.
