RISC OS Open

RISC OS Open Limited (ROOL) is a company that manages the source code to RISC OS, an operating system designed in Cambridge, England by Acorn, first released in 1987. ROOL is run on a largely voluntary basis and offers specialist professional services to those interested in developing products around the Arm architecture or RISC OS. The company was formed by five people involved in RISC OS projects for many years, and its core team originally formed the nucleus of Pace's Cambridge IPTV development team and previously worked for Acorn Computers. ROOL manages the Open Source RISC OS repository and community as a not-for-profit activity.
