In 1990, the company made its first steps into amplifiers with the MS-250 and MS-2125, which had 24K gold plated circuit boards, helping to establish a reputation for high-quality products. Over the years, Phoenix Gold has produced limited edition amplifiers, including the Frank Amp 'n Stein, The Outlaw and Bandit (1994), and The Reactor (1996).
