Osaki Industry Co., Ltd.

Osaki Industry Co., Ltd. is a Japanese company that develops, manufactures, and sells inorganic and organic fine chemical products, traffic safety materials, and welfare materials for the visually impaired. Since its establishment in 1961, it has been manufacturing various road marking paints, including Japan's first road marking paint 'LINEPHALT®'. The company also produces 'STEP-GUIDE' markings for guiding the visually impaired, which have been highly rated in the environment and welfare sector.

The company was established on February 1, 1961, by separating Hiroshima Works of Sakai Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. In April 1961, it started production of barium sulfate, almina white, and 'LINEPHALT®'. Over the years, it expanded its operations, including starting production of catalysts in 1973, organophosphorus compounds in 1980, and precious metal powder in 1981. It also acquired Hakko Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. in 1986.
