Okayama KIMURAYA

Okayama KIMURAYA is a bakery company founded in 1919 in Okayama City. It operates retail bakeries and franchise stores, mainly in Okayama Prefecture. The company is known for its long-selling products such as sakura anpan, snakey, and banana cream roll, and continues to release new products every month.

Founded in 1919 by Kajitani Chuji, who trained at Ginza Kimuraya, the first bakery in Japan. The first store opened in present-day Okayama City. Over the years, the company expanded with factories and related companies. In 1953, sakura anpan and snakey were launched; in 1955, banana cream roll was introduced. The company celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019.
