NS Railinfratrust

NS Railinfratrust was a Dutch government-owned railway infrastructure holding company established during the restructuring of the Netherlands’ railway sector. Its creation reflected the separation of railway infrastructure management from train operations, a model adopted in the Netherlands during the 1990s as responsibilities within the national railway system were reorganized. NS Railinfratrust emerged from the reorganization of the Dutch railway system in the 1990s.
