History
Nexia's history dates back to the 1960s when two top-five accounting firms from London and New York began collaborating by referring clients and forming a network called S&O International. In the 1970s, the network expanded based on the 'one country, one firm' principle, primarily generating income from the UK and US markets. The name 'Nexia' was adopted after a merger with Neville Russell International. The Nexia name is derived from the Latin term, 'nexus', meaning something that binds, connects or links.
