Natural Chemistry

Natural Chemistry is a company that offers a range of pool and spa products, including sanitizers, balancers, maintenance items, and problem solvers. The company also has a Pet and Home Solutions division and a Pro Series for pool professionals and commercial use.

Natural Chemistry was founded by Robert Kulperger, a chemical engineer, who recognized a growing demand for naturally based yet reliable products. In 1989, Robert Kulperger met Mark Munford at a trade show in New York, and one month later Mark formed Natural Chemistry Canada. In 1990, Robert and Mark purchased the enzyme company that supplied the intellectual property and trade secret technology. In 1996, Natural Chemistry licensed technology to remove phosphates from pool water. In 1997, Natural Chemistry began manufacturing in Syracuse, NY. In 1998, Robert and Mark consolidated Natural Chemistry USA and Natural Chemistry Canada into one company, with Robert as CEO and Mark as President and COO. That year, Natural Chemistry purchased the assets, intellectual property, and brand names of Willow Bay and launched the DeFlea line throughout the United States. In 1999, Natural Chemistry purchased several patents for phosphate removal technology for pools and spas. In 2000, Natural Chemistry's 'Pet and Home Solutions' division was born in the US. In 2001, Natural Chemistry purchased Complete Packaging Solutions in Syracuse, NY.
