History
NARIS was founded in April 1932. In 1936, it began manufacturing and selling cosmetics under its own brand 'Naris'. In 1937, it launched its first cleansing lotion, the first-generation 'Conk'. In 1965, it started selling cosmetics in the US (Hawaii). In 1974, it introduced European aesthetic beauty and developed cosmetics for esthetic salons, starting franchise salon expansion. In 1983, it entered the mail-order business. In 2000, Naris Up Cosmetics was established. In 2009, it launched the co-developed brand 'Faris by Naris' in Thailand. In 2013, it established a joint venture in Thailand. In 2014, it acquired shares of Naris Cosmetics of Hawaii, Inc. In 2017, its Hyogo factory obtained ISO22716 certification. In 2018, it made Lumiere Paris a group company. In 2025, it completed a makeup factory.
