MotherDuck

MotherDuck is a cloud data warehouse built on DuckDB, offering serverless analytics with dedicated compute for every user and agent. The company was co-founded by Jordan Tigani, who previously helped build BigQuery at Google. MotherDuck works in partnership with DuckDB's creators, Hannes Mühleisen and Mark Raasveldt, who founded DuckLabs.

MotherDuck is a cloud data warehouse built on DuckDB. The idea for MotherDuck came after Jordan Tigani, co-founder and chief duck-herder, saw DuckDB in action and thought someone should build a serverless version. At Google, Jordan had helped take Dremel and turn it into BigQuery.
