Metbox is a European technology company focused on developing data infrastructure for smart metering and energy systems, from the meter in the field to insight in the platform. Founded in 2015, headquartered in Mārupe, Latvia, it serves clients across utilities, municipalities and buildings in the Baltics and Europe. Metbox has grown from a hardware-focused solution into a full data platform, supporting over 150 clients and 18,000+ connected devices across water, heat, gas and sensor networks.

Metbox was founded in 2015. Since then, it has built and deployed solutions for utilities, municipalities and building operators, helping them collect and manage data from meters and technical systems in real operating environments. Over the years, Metbox has grown from a hardware-focused solution into a full data platform, combining device connectivity, data processing and system integration in one place. Today, Metbox supports more than 150 clients and over 18,000 connected devices across water, heat, gas and sensor networks.
