Originally established as Memphis Compress and Storage Company, the business began by meeting the storage and handling needs of area cotton merchants and producers. In the 1960s, the company diversified by opening a warehouse for general merchandise and expanding into local truck delivery services. During the 1970s, Mallory Alexander entered the contract warehousing business and acquired an international freight forwarder specializing in air and ocean shipping. Today, Mallory Alexander provides end-to-end services, including international, domestic, and project and experiential logistics.
