Maison Yusif

Maison Yusif is a Ghanaian fragrance brand that began in 2017 when Yusif Meizongo Jr. started selling perfumes from the trunk of his car in Accra. The brand was reborn as Maison Yusif in 2022, and in 2023 its fragrance 'The Vatican' was named Best Niche Fragrance at the Perfumista Awards in France. In 2024, it became the first African niche house to launch nine fragrances in one day.

Maison Yusif began in 2017 in Accra as a one-man pursuit run from the trunk of a car, blending Ghanaian materials with modern perfumery. In 2022, the brand was reborn as Maison Yusif. In 2023, 'The Vatican' was named Best Niche Fragrance at the Perfumista Awards in France, and the brand received honors including Brand of the Year, Innovation, and the Pulse Business Influencer Award. In 2024, Maison Yusif became the first African niche house to launch nine fragrances in one day and was again named Best Perfume Brand of the Year.
