Lime Microsystems is a company that specialises in field programmable RF (FPRF) transceivers, SDR platforms, network equipment and ecosystem technology for the next generation of wireless broadband systems. It pioneered field-programmable RF and has been producing software-defined radio (SDR) silicon since 2012. The company has shipped over 16,000 LimeSDR boards to developers, research laboratories and system integrators globally. Since 2014, Lime has been applying SDR to mobile infrastructure with the LimeNET family of products. At MWC23, Lime presented a complete 5G network running on a Raspberry Pi CM4.
History

Lime pioneered the field-programmable RF (FPRF) transceiver and has been producing software-defined radio (SDR) silicon since 2012. Since 2014 Lime has been at the forefront of innovation in applying SDR to mobile infrastructure, with the LimeNET family of products. In May 2025, Lime announced the LimeSDR GW Project, a collaboration with Enjoy Digital to migrate its LimeSDR product line to a new unified gateware.
