Les mercedes

Les Mercedes is a non-profit cooperative based in Barcelona, formed by a group of women specialized in educational tourism. It offers courier services for individuals and eco-logistics solutions for businesses, using a 100% green fleet. The cooperative was constituted in July 2020, transforming its governance model to be sustainable, horizontal, and transparent. It positions itself as an active agent in urban cycle logistics, promoting gender perspective and visibility for women and vulnerable groups.

Les Mercedes was constituted as a cooperative in July 2020, after the COVID-19 crisis gave the group an opportunity to rethink their future and commit to a new model. They changed the roles of boss and workers and moved towards a sustainable, horizontal, and transparent governance model.
