History
KW Plastics was established in 1981. Owners Kenny Campbell and Wiley Sanders began processing used automotive battery casings into polypropylene (PP) resin. In 1986, a new plastic recycling plant opened in Bakersfield, California. In the late 1980s, KW Plastics worked with several west coast manufacturers to meet their injection molding needs, becoming the first end-to-end plastic recycling plant in the industry.
