In 1991, KLK's CEO invested in downstream manufacturing with the opening of its first oleochemical plant, Palm-Oleo in Rawang, marking the birth of KLK OLEO. In 2006, the corporate brand 'KLK OLEO' was launched, assembling all oleochemical operations under one identity.
