Jeffboat

Jeffboat was a shipbuilding company located in Jeffersonville, Indiana, founded in 1834. It was once one of the largest builders of river barges in North America, primarily constructing barges and towboats for inland waterways such as the Mississippi River. In 2018, the company announced closure due to poor market conditions.
