Overview
iKi Beer is a beer brand that uses Sencha green tea as a base in every tea beer it brews. The brand aims to combine the best flavors for world travelers open to new experiences, using organic ingredients. Currently, iKi Beer offers three flavors: iKi Yuzu, iKi Ginger, and iKi Zero.
History
The first thoughts and ideas about iKi started when Arjen Hemelaar stayed in a Japanese Monastery for three years during the millennium, learning about products based on green tea. Back in the Netherlands, he discovered there was no beer based on green tea. The first product, iKi Yuzu, was developed by food technology graduates from Wageningen University. Currently, CEO Miranda Janssen organizes logistics and quality assurance, develops new flavors and markets, aiming to expand iKi Beer worldwide.
