Gunawan Dianjaya Steel

PT Gunawan Dianjaya Steel Tbk (GDS) is an Indonesian company founded in 1989 in Surabaya. It is a leading hot rolled steel plate manufacturer in Indonesia with an installed production capacity of up to 400,000 tons per year. GDS produces steel plates for general use, boilers and pressure vessels, and ship building.

PT Gunawan Dianjaya Steel, Tbk. (GDS) was founded in 1989 in Surabaya. The establishment was registered under notarial deed No. 6 dated April 8th, 1989 and approved by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia under Decree No. C-2.11174. HT.01.01.Th.1989 dated December 11th, 1989. In 2004 the status of GDS was changed into Foreign Capital Investment. GDS commenced its commercial production since the end of 1993 to serve the domestic and export markets.
