Geovariances

Geovariances is a company founded in 1986 by three engineers from the Center for Geostatistics at Mines ParisTech. It provides geostatistics software, consulting services, and training programs to over 500 organizations in mining, energy, environmental, and bioresources industries. The company has developed key products including Isatis, Kartotrak, and Isatis.neo, and became part of the Datamine Group in 2022.

Geovariances was founded in 1986 by three engineers from the Center for Geostatistics at Mines ParisTech. In 1993, the first version of Isatis was released, becoming the global reference software for applied geostatistics. In 2010, a collaboration with the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) led to the development of Kartotrak. In 2017, Isatis.neo was released as a complete architectural rebuild of Isatis. In 2022, Geovariances strengthened the Datamine portfolio by bringing world-class geostatistical expertise.
