Fuel Card Services is one of the largest independent fuel card agents in the UK, offering fuel cards and fleet management services. They partner with major fuel brands and serve around 50,000 customer accounts, selling approximately 830 million litres of fuel annually.
History
Fuel Card Services started offering fuel cards as Floyd Oil Distributors in 1990 and changed its name to Fuel Card Services in 2000. It was acquired by DCC plc in 2005 and acquired Carlton Fuels in 2006. In 2008 it acquired Cooke Fuel Cards, and in 2010 it acquired Brogan Fuels. In 2013 it acquired the Bronze customer base from Shell, and in 2017 it reached 1 billion litres sold. In 2018 it launched its first fleet services, and by 2022 it had 4 locations, 230+ employees, 15 fuel cards, and 6 fleet services.
