Fersa

Fersa is a bearing manufacturer that designs and manufactures innovative and high-efficiency bearing solutions for automotive, industrial, wind energy, and railway applications. The company was founded in 1968 as FERDSA in Zaragoza, Spain, and later became Fersa Bearings in 1993. Fersa sells 38 million bearings annually worldwide and assembles over 1 million OEM axles each year with its bearings.

Fersa was founded in 1968 as FERDSA in Zaragoza, Spain, from the union of two family workshops. In 1980, the company designed and manufactured metric and inch series tapered roller bearings. In 1985, it designed and developed the first special tapered roller bearings. In 1992, the owners sold the company FERDSA to its employees. In 1993, it officially became Fersa Bearings. In 1997, it obtained its first quality certification, ISO 9001. In 2001, it diversified its bearing range. In 2002, it associated with Going Investment. In 2005, it moved to a new headquarters in PLAZA in Zaragoza, Spain. In 2006, it developed double-row ball bearings and obtained ISO TS 16949 certification. In 2008, it launched thrust roller bearings (type T) and special ball bearings.
