Dependable Cleaners is a 4th generation, certified women-owned family dry cleaning company with over 80 years of dedication to trust, care, and excellence. It began in 1944 as a shirt laundry facility and has grown into one of the leading dry cleaning companies in the Greater Boston Metro area. The company offers a range of services including laundry and dry cleaning, tailoring, wedding gown care, and more, with a focus on eco-friendly practices.

Dependable Cleaners was founded in 1944 by Don Sr. and Marion Fawcett as a shirt laundry facility. It has grown into one of the leading dry cleaning companies in the Greater Boston Metro area. Don Jr. and Fred Fawcett later took over the company, growing it into a local chain. In 2015, Don Fawcett won the Diamond Award from The Dry Cleaning Institute. After 26 years, Don Jr. passed the legacy on to his daughter, current President and CEO, Christa Hagearty.
