Danger, Inc. was an American mobile device company founded in 2000 by Andy Rubin, Joe Britt, and Matt Hershenson, headquartered in Palo Alto, California. It was known for developing the Sidekick smartphone, notable for its unique swivel design and instant messaging capabilities. In 2008, Danger was acquired by Microsoft, and its technology was later used in the Kin phones, which ultimately failed. The company has since been dissolved.
