Cylib

Cylib is a battery recycling company founded in 2022 by Dr. Lilian Schwich, Paul Sabarny, and Dr. Gideon Schwich, based on research from RWTH Aachen University. The company transforms end-of-life batteries into critical raw materials, recovering all elements within lithium-ion batteries, including lithium, graphite, nickel, cobalt, and manganese. It operates a pilot line in Aachen and is scaling up with a first-of-a-kind industrial facility in Chempark Dormagen.
