Cyberus Technology GmbH

Cyberus Technology GmbH is a software company founded in 2017. It focuses on open-source infrastructure for digital sovereignty, offering virtualization, operating systems, and an engineering methodology for regulated environments. Its products include the Cyberus Hypervisor, Cyberus Linux, and the Cidoka engineering framework.

Cyberus Technology was founded in 2017. In October 2024, the BSI certification process (VS-NfD) for the Cyberus Hypervisor was kicked off, with the BSI acting as demand carrier. In November 2025, the BSI VS-NfD operational approval was achieved. In April 2025, Cyberus became a founding member of the NeoNephos Foundation (Linux Foundation) and contributed optimizations to the Linux kernel in collaboration with SAP. In October 2024, CTRL-OS was released as a NixOS long-term support offering. In August 2024, Cyberus won an SAP tender for the APEIRO-RA project.
