Guangdong Brunp Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2005. It covers three integrated business segments: battery recycling, phosphorus materials, and nickel-cobalt materials. It is a leading waste battery recycling enterprise in China and has built a full battery industry chain recycling system. It is a partner of top international automobile companies. Through its proprietary Directional Cycle (DRT) core technology system, it was the first in the global waste battery recycling field to solve the industry-wide problem of 'waste-to-material' reduction. As a national standard-setting unit in China, Brunp has become a technical benchmark for the entire process of power battery recycling and processing in China.
History
Guangdong Brunp Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2005. In 2006, the BRUNP brand strategy was launched. In 2007, the first R&D center was completed and systematic research on battery recycling was initiated. In 2008, Hunan Brunp was established and construction of the Changsha base started. In 2009, the core theoretical system of 'Directional Cycle' was created. In 2010, the company was recognized as a national high-tech enterprise. In 2011, an academician workstation was established and research on new energy vehicle recycling was initiated. In 2012, it was recognized as a key high-tech enterprise of the National Torch Plan. In 2013, it undertook a national science and technology support plan research project. In 2014, the Changsha base obtained automobile recycling and dismantling qualification. In 2015, it was selected as a national circular economy standardization pilot. In 2016, construction of the Foshan base started. In 2017, the Changsha base was expanded. In 2018, it was recognized as a national and local joint engineering research center and national enterprise technology center. In 2019, the Ningde project and Indonesia project started construction. In 2021, the Yichang base started construction. In 2022, the global R&D and innovation center started construction. In 2023, the Guangdong Brunp full-chain integrated industrial park was signed. In 2024, the world's first national standard for 'Directional Cycle' was approved for project initiation.
