Overview
Canadian Vickers was a shipbuilding and aircraft manufacturing company in Montreal, Canada, founded in 1911 as a subsidiary of the British Vickers company. During both World Wars, it built warships for the Canadian Navy and produced aircraft. In 1944, it was sold and renamed Canadian Shipbuilding Company, eventually closing in the 1960s.
