The company was formed when Boyd Management, Inc. (BMI) was acquired by CAHEC on October 1, 2020.

Boyd Management, Inc. (BMI) was formed in 1985 in response to the need for professional real estate management services. At inception, BMI managed less than twenty communities and grew to be the largest privately held property management firm of USDA, Rural Development 515 communities in the country. BMI was acquired by CAHEC on October 1, 2020, and is now CAHEC Management, Inc. (CMI).
