History
Brinkhaus was founded in 1847 by Hermann Joseph Brinkhaus in Warendorf. Initially, the company focused on cotton textiles and soon specialized in batiste, which could be used for down fillings due to the fineness of the yarns and dense weave. Over time, it developed into a specialist for high-quality bedding, mattresses, and boxspring beds. In 2003, production of down and feather bedding was relocated from Warendorf to Kostrzyn, Poland. Since 2011, Brinkhaus has been part of the EuroComfort Group, and in 2016, a modern down and feather production facility was opened in Kostrzyn.
