Bosch Industriekessel

Bosch Industriekessel is a manufacturer of industrial boiler systems, part of Bosch Industrial Heat. It has been developing and producing customer-specific system solutions for heating and process heat for over 160 years. More than 120,000 steam, hot water, and heating boiler systems have been commissioned in over 140 countries. The company was founded in 1865 by Philipp Loos in Neustadt, Germany.

Bosch Industriekessel was founded in 1865 by Philipp Loos in Neustadt, Germany. In 1917, a new production site was established in Gunzenhausen, Germany. In 1952, a patent was granted for a horizontal three-pass flame-tube smoke-tube boiler with an internally located, water-cooled reversing chamber. In 1958/1959, additional sites were added in Schlungenhof, Germany, and Bischofshofen, Austria. In 1975, development and production of own boiler control and safety systems began. In 2009, Loos became a subsidiary of Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH. In 2011, Loos was renamed and operated under the name Bosch Industriekessel. In 2012, the brand was changed to Bosch.
