History
Bergmann Messgeraete Entwicklung KG was founded in 1991 to develop and produce advanced time-of-flight (ToF) mass spectrometers. The founder, Dr. Thorald Bergmann, built a world record breaking ToF mass spectrometer as his Ph.D thesis. In the late 1990s, the product lineup was expanded with a high precision delay generator. In the early 2000s, the company developed the first working prototype of Pockels cell drivers and has since become the no. 1 producer of Pockels Cell drivers in the world.
