History
Beta Kimya was founded in 1987, starting with the production of furniture glues. It grew with the Apel and Mitreapel brands and now produces over 100 different products. In 2007, a new production facility was established in Tuzla, Istanbul, for new-generation adhesives and chemicals for wood and construction sectors. The first R&D laboratory was set up there, and in 2019 it received the R&D Center Certificate. In 2010, another facility in Tuzla began producing technical aerosols, polyurethane-based adhesives, and fillers. Two more factories were opened in 2013 and 2016, bringing the total to four. By 2023, trade had increased to neighboring countries, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
