History
Barrettine was established in 1879 in River Street Docks, Bristol by J.V. Barrett Esq., originally to supply whale oil, fish oils, tar, lamp oils, tallow etc. to ships and ship chandlers. In 1973, the business was bought by brothers Colin & Peter Bailey. In 1983, Barrettine Industrial was established, and in 1984, Barrettine Products was established.
