Anker Schroeder ASDO GmbH is a German manufacturer of large upset-forged tension members. The company was founded in 1920 by engineer Julius Schroeder and is now run by his great-grandson Daniel Schroeder in the fourth generation. It specializes in upset forging and machining of long round steel with high tensile strength to produce special anchorages, offering individual solutions. Products are used in steel construction, hydraulic steel engineering, mechanical engineering, lifting equipment for offshore applications, and more. The company employs 100 people, mainly at its main plant in Dortmund, and exports more than 75% of its products worldwide.

Anker Schroeder was founded in 1920 by engineer Julius Schroeder. His sons Ernst and Jürgen Schroeder, and after 1981 his grandson Dirk Schroeder, took over the business. Today, his great-grandson Daniel Schroeder leads the company in the fourth generation. The company specializes in upset forging and machining of long round steel with high tensile strength to produce special anchorages, a unique selling point. It employs 100 people, almost exclusively at the main plant in Dortmund, but also in Great Britain. The sole manufacturing site in Dortmund covers a 45,000 m² site with 14,000 m² of factory halls with rail connection. More than 60 skilled workers are employed there to produce tension members, anchorages, round steel anchors, tie rod systems, and welded constructions for steel construction, building construction, port construction, bridge construction, and heavy machinery construction. Typically, over 4,500 tons of steel are kept in stock to enable short-term production and quick delivery.
