Epstein is a multi-disciplinary design and construction company focused on serving clients, empowering employee-owners, and enhancing communities. It was founded in 1921 by Abraham Epstein as a structural engineering consultant. Headquartered in Chicago, with additional offices in New York, Raleigh, and Warsaw, Poland, the firm offers services ranging from architecture to engineering and construction.

Epstein was founded on July 15, 1921, by Abraham Epstein, a recent University of Illinois graduate and Russian immigrant. The firm started as A. Epstein – Structural Engineer, providing engineering solutions for industrial and commercial clients in Chicago. Over time, it grew into a worldwide multi-disciplinary AEC firm.
