History

Wayfront was founded in 2014 as Service Provider Pro (SPP) and rebranded as Wayfront in 2026. The founder, Chris, started it as a way to help automate a video production agency he was running at the time. Initially it was a tool for himself and a few friends, and later a SaaS version was built.
