Venterra Realty was founded in 2001 by John Foresi and Andrew Stewart. The company develops, owns, and manages apartment communities in 24 major US cities, providing housing to over 50,000 people and 16,000 pets. It operates communities in Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas.

Venterra was founded in 2001 by John Foresi and Andrew Stewart. The name "Venterra" was formed from the words "venture" and "terra" meaning land. The company was founded based on a set of core values. From small beginnings, Venterra originally managed four communities (about 800 apartment homes) in Austin and Houston, Texas, and had only 35 corporate and on-site employees. Venterra has grown to proudly develop, own, and manage apartment communities in 24 major US cities that provide housing to over 50,000 people and 16,000 pets.
