Trevor Sorbie

Trevor Sorbie is an international award-winning hair salon brand that opened its flagship salon in Covent Garden in 1979. It now has six salons in the UK and over 100 stylists and technicians. The brand is known for its creative Artistic Team and has mentored celebrated Artistic Directors. Founder Trevor Sorbie created iconic styles such as 'The Wedge' (1974) and 'The Scrunch' (1979).

Founder Trevor Sorbie created 'The Wedge' in 1974, which was the first hairdressing picture to be published as a double-page spread in Vogue magazine. In 1979, he created 'The Scrunch', a new method of drying hair that became a universally recognized technique. In 2004, he was the first hairdresser to receive an MBE from the Queen.
