History
Trevor Sorbie opened its flagship salon in Covent Garden in 1979. The brand has since expanded to six locations across the UK and beyond, with over 100 employees. Founder Trevor Sorbie created 'The Wedge' in 1974, which was the first hairdressing picture to be published as a double-page spread in Vogue magazine. In 1979, he created 'The Scrunch', a new method of drying hair that became a universally recognized technique. In 2004, he was the first hairdresser to receive an MBE from the Queen.
