ThinKom is a privately held company based in Hawthorne, California, that designs and manufactures satcom antennas. History
ThinKom was founded in 2000. In 2003, it received its first U.S. government contract for an airborne antenna. In 2009, the first ThinPacks were delivered. In 2011, the first successful flight test on a U.S. military wide-body aircraft occurred, and the first ThinSat 300 was delivered. Also in 2011, Gogo selected VICTS technology for inflight connectivity. In 2013, Gogo 2Ku, powered by ThinKom, won the APEX Best Achievement in Technology award. In 2015, the first flight with Gogo 2Ku (Aeromexico) took place.
