Solund Verft

It has two beds for erecting docked boats on land, two ship halls (the largest is 65 meters long and 25 meters below the crane hooks), and around 200 meters of quay length. The company specializes in repair, remodeling, maintenance, and various classifications, with a main focus on equipment of new construction. Historically, it has had 30% ferries for maintenance and newbuildings. Other typical projects include fishing vessels, coastal shipping vessels, wellboats, pre-boats, work boats, and various special vessels. The customer diversity is varied and annually it docks over 100 constructions. Customers include Fjord1, Norled, Forsvaret, Firda, Sjøfarmer, Marine Harvest, Artic Shipping, Wergeland Group, and private customers in connection with its boat hotel. In 2011, it increased depth at quay to 8 meters at the lowest water level. In 2010, it built a new ship hall with length 65m, width 20m, height 25m below the crane hooks, and crane capacity of 2 traverse cranes 2 x 16 tons, total lifting capacity 64 tons.
