Sigmatek

Sigmatek is an automation company founded in 1988 by Andreas Melkus, Theodor Kusejko, and Marianne Kusejko. It is headquartered in Lamprechtshausen and remains 100% owned by the Melkus and Kusejko families. The company develops and supplies control systems, I/O systems, and HMI solutions for industrial automation.

Sigmatek was founded in 1988 by Andreas Melkus, Theodor Kusejko, and Marianne Kusejko. The first production facility was set up in a bedroom. In 1988, the first PLC 'Modas' was presented. In 1994, Werk I was inaugurated, designed for 100 employees. In 1996, the DIAS control system was introduced, enabling decentralized arrangement of PLC modules. In 2000, LASAL, the first object-oriented programming software, was introduced. In 2001, Werk II was built and connected by a bridge.
