History
SCHUNK began in 1945 as a mechanical workshop founded by Friedrich Schunk in Lauffen am Neckar shortly after the end of the Second World War. Its early production included drum-brake components and flywheels for the NSU Prinz 4, as well as parts for the Porsche 356.
